Ivy\u2019s trembling voice sent fear rushing through me. I ran outside in my socks and found my eleven-year-old son, Joel, bleeding from his knees and hands, holding a terrified little girl in pink pajamas. A delivery truck stood crooked in the road, and its driver sat crying on the curb.<\/p>\n
\u201cWhat happened?\u201d I whispered.<\/p>\n
